President names priorities of Ukrainian government at international business meeting

IMF, World Bank representatives gather in Kyiv

Fight against corruption and stable economic growth are the priorities of the Ukrainian government, said President Porosheko during a meeting of member states of IMF and World Bank in Kyiv.

"Our priority is fight against corruption, Together with our partners from the U.S. and E.U. we implement the best experience and practice in fight against corruption. We have established several agencies, including the Anti-Corruption Bureau," Poroshenko stated.

He also noted one of the tasks of the government is to achieve 1.1 percent GDP growth by the end of the year.

Poroshenko urged the international partners to support Ukraine on its way to becoming a comfortable environment for foreign businesses and investments.
