Ceasefire heat: Russian proxies commence first artillery raid in last 10 days

After short pause Russian-controlled forces again using heavy weapon in Donbas

Although Ukrainian military insist the situation in Donbas is under control, today they reported about first raid since September, 1 fire raid of Kremlin-backed militants with heavy artillery.  

The situation heated in the Mariupol direction, where 5 violations of "regime of silence" were recorded. Russian proxies attacked strategic positions of Ukrainian army in the village of Shyrokyne using weapons banned by Minsk agreements 122 mm howitzers. Nearby positions were attacked with medium mortars of 82-mm caliber.

Four more incidents were reported in Donetsk area. Here militants attacked with grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms.

Earlier today Ukrainian military reported of mortar fire, and stated, that number of attacks remains the same. A day before Ukraine suffered first heavy losses since the start of ceasefire.
