Russian proxies launched 40 attacks in eastern Ukraine over the past day, heavy mortars used
"During the day, the Russian occupational forces opened fire 40 times on positions of Ukrainian defenders," press centre of Anti-terrorist operation headquarters reports.
In a relatively quiet area of Lugansk 10 violations of the "regime of silence" were recorded. Russian proxies engaged Ukrainian troops in the region with grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms.

In Mariupol direction militants commenced 18 violations of "ceasefire." Ukrainian forces report Russian snipers and light armour used in attacks.
The hardest situation noted in Donetsk area. There Russian proxies launched 12 attacks using medium and heavy mortars, and also light armour.
"Despite these provocations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine strictly observed the Minsk agreements," Ukrainian HQ assured.
As reported, on the previous 24 hours ATO zone has seen 2 Ukrainian soldiers injured.
