Ukraine reports 29 attacks by Russian proxies including heavy mortar shelling, one soldier wounded

Situation on Donbas frontline remains tense, spokesman for the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Col. Andriy Lysenko said. According to him Russian proxies commenced 29 attacks during the day, most of them in Donetsk region. Here they used banned heavy weapons, namely mortars of 120 and 82 mm calibre, firing over 40 shells. The main "hot spots" on the frontline are the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka.

During a militant attack in Avdiyivka one government soldier was injured. Ukrainian Army still not opening fire in return, Lysenko stressed.

Also Kremlin sponsored separatists "blatantly violate prior agreement of the withdrawal of forces". Near the town of Zolote they go even further, building new fortifications and refusing the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to enter the scene, thus making a "direct violation of Minsk arrangements and the mandate of the mission, which provides access to any area on the contact line". Yesterday Ukraine reported 28 militant attacks, during which one soldier was killed, 6 wounded.
