‘Disengagement' escalation in Donbas: Russian proxies attack with armour and 152mm artillery

48 militant attacks reported during past 24 hours, heavy armour, artillery along with a variety of mortars used

Ukrainian Anti-terrorist operation HQ report of new escalation in Donbas despite all ‘cease fire' and ‘disengagement' agreements. Russia-backed militants committed 47 violations of the Minsk over the past 24 hours, HQ press centre say.

16 attacks noted in the Luhansk sector. Militants used 82 mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and sniper weapon.

In the Mariupol sector 20 militant attacks reported, one of them with Russian infantry fighting vehicle (BMP).

The hardest situation reported in Donetsk sector. Here Russian proxies attacked with heavy 152mm artillery, mortars of 120mm and 82mm calibre and even heavy armour (tank). Also three Russian drones were spotted.

Yesterday Ukraine reported almost 50 militant attacks overnight in Donbas.
