Explosion rocks medical centre in western Ukraine

Authorities suspect thieves targeted a bank machine in the clinic's lobby

An explosion rocked a medical centre in western Ukraine.

The blast occured on Friday morning at a clinic in a small town of Tlumach.

No injuries have been reported since the medical centre was not open at the time.

Local authorities are investigating what caused the explosion.

One of the theories is an improvised explosive device aimed at the bank machine installed in the clinic's lobby.
