Russian FSB released footage of Ridvan Suleimanov confessing of intention to plant bombs in Simferopol
Refat Chubarov, a Ukrainian MP the head the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, says of the ‘saboteurs' accused by Russia of plotting terror attacks in Crimea, was arrested by the FSB about three weeks ago.
"First information about Redvan Suleimanov is coming. As we expected, this is a real person, and he is in a great trouble: he was arrested by the FSB, presumably, about 3 weeks ago. In fact, he was living in a village in the Simferopol district. Perhaps, he was registered in Zaporizhia, but lived permanently in Crimea," Chubarov wrote on his Facebook page.
"All his friends and relatives are living in Crimea, but they conceal the information about his arrest ...This behaviour is becoming normal for some Crimea residents, they are afraid that if they tell the neighbours about their problem, they will not see their arrested loved ones alive again," he added.
On August 12, Russia 24 TV channel aired an FSB video with Redvan Suleimanov, who claimed that he had been "recruited as Ukrainian Defence Intelligence agent in Zaporizhia in 2015, and was planning to plant bombs at the bus station and airport of Simferopol.
