Europol has revealed a network of illegal imigration of Ukrainians
The European Police Office has disclosed a criminal network which was assisting Ukrainians to migrate to the UK and Ireland, illegally though. People from Ukraine would reach those countries using fake IDs.
The special operation was jointly conducted by the Europol together with Spanish law enforcement agencies and Polish border guard service. Over 100 people involved in the law-breaking scheme have already been arrested.
The migration flow to Britain greatly increased after the annexation of Crimea. According to police data, the migration procedure looked as follows: Ukrainians would go to Poland with a tourist visa, When they arrfived, they would get forged Polish passport or one of the Baltic countries and with these documents they could travel further up to the UK as a EU citizen.
The network's organizers were providing a whole range of services starting from fake IDs up to flight tickets and accommodation in transit countries.
