Russian proxies attack numerous locations in Donbas, light armour used

The hardest situation today is in the Mariupol sector – militants commenced 16 attacks there

Russian-sponsored separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 32 times in the past 24 hours, press centre of the Anti-Terrorist Operation HQ reports. That includes 16 times in the Mariupol sector, 10 times in the Donetsk sector and six times in the Luhansk sector.

In the Luhansk sector, where withdrawal of forces was to start yesterday, militants used small arms and grenade launchers.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants fired grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms near the three locations, including local hottest spot – the town of Avdiyivka.

In the Mariupol sector, Russia's proxies attacked numerous locations, using small arms, machine guns, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles.

Also Ukrainian troopers spotted five Russian UAVs over Donbas in the last day, the headquarters said.
