Terrorism suspect apprehended in the Netherlands

Authorities say the 32-year-old was planning an attack on France

Dutch police have arrested a suspected terrorist in Rotterdam on Sunday. The thirty-two-year-old man is accused of planning an attack on France. Authorities in the Netherlands say they also detained three other people on similar claims.

According to the Dutch prosecutor's office the suspects are of Algerian origin. The arrests were carried out by a special anti-terrorism squad, Dutch intelligence unit as well as the national prosecutors office.
