Two more people arrested in France over Nice attack

Seven detained so far, including attacker's ex-wife

Two people have been detained by French police in the wake of the truck attack in Nice that left 84 dead and hundreds injured on Thursday night.

Seven people have been arrested so far over the attack, according to French media.

The ex-wife of the attacker has been earlier taken into police custody for questioning.

France has began a three-day mourning period, as President Francois Hollande has warned the death toll could rise further. The country's state of emergency has been extended by three more months.

The Islamic State terror group claimed it carried out the Nice truck attack in statement carried by group's media outlet.
