Video project "Mykyta the Fox from All over the World" gathers kids from 33 countries to pay tribute to their Ukrainian heritage
"Mykyta the Fox from All over the World" is a unique global project, released as a tribute to Ivan Franko and his 160th anniversary of birth. The initiative belongs to the International Institute of Education, Culture and Relations with Diaspora of the National University "Lvivs'ka Politechnica".
The involement of 2016 Eurovision winner, Jamala, makes the project more valuable to Ukrainian communities of the world; the singer expressed support not just to kids, but to their families which had to leave Ukraine.
In this video, creators included fragments of Franko's poem, "Mykyta the Fox", narrated by diaspora kids aged 5-11 years.

The aim of the project is to awaken interest in the hearts of Ukrainian diaspora kids and grow love for Ivan Franko and his poems, which had been written in the land of their parents and grandparents.
Children from Australia, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Great Britain, Croatia, Greece, Georgia, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia, Moldova, Nigeria, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, the USA, Hungary, Czech Republic and Ukraine took part in the video project.
"Mykyta the Fox" is a satirical fairy tale in verse by Ivan Franko. Mykyta the Fox is also the character of Ivan Franko's other fairy tales such as "The Animal Parliament" and "The Painted Fox".
Video studio, GOOdzyk production, and the artist, Nataliya Kashchak, are the creators of this unique project.
