Ukrainian celebrities took part in the photoshoot "Shchyri" (Sincere), dedicated to Ukrainian traditional costume

Best authentic costumes of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, and 30 kilograms of Ukrainian accessories have been collected at the shooting scene.

Via the beauty of national costume, the event aims to transmit love for the country and animate the Ukrainian culture. The topic of the photo project is "Color".

"Schyri" is a charity initiative. The organizers challenged themselves with two goals - to demonstrate multicolorness and depth of Ukrainian gowns and to collect money, which then will be granted to regional museums that now lack funding.

This year, the organizers wanted the costumes to be as precise as possible, so the shooting crew has invited the representatives of the Ukrainian Institute of Fashion History.

The organizers found inspiration in the old photos of Ukrainians and they attempted to recreate the atmosphere in the modern images.
