The regional folklore-ethnographic festival "Osin' Vesil'na" took place in Chernivtsi province
The Chernivetsky Regional Museum of National Architecture and Everyday Life organized the festival "Osin' vesil'na". A number of amateur folklore groups from all over the region amused the audience with national songs, improvised performances with traditional costumes.
During the festival, visitors witnessed bridal customs of the ethnocultural groups inhabiting Bukovina. The visitors could listen to Romanian, Hutsul, Bessarabian and Ukrainian bridal songs.
The guests could take part in the mock wedding ceremony with a Romanian groom and a Ukrainian bride. The festival's participants used historical ceremonial attire, which Romanian and Ukrainian people wore traditionally.
