The project members are working on a modern ballet with hip-hop elements
The French-Ukrainian troop starts rehearsals to present a show next February. The choreographer, Brahim Bouchelaghem from France, plans to combine different dancing style – both classic and modern, together with hip-hop and break-dance.
20 Ukrainian dancers will work hard for five months. In early February, they, together with the French choreographer, will present a contemporary ballet piece to a Ukrainian audience. The storyline will be improvised on during rehearsals.
The performance still doesn't have a name, but it will have its own unique music for sure. Ukrainian composer, whose name remains a secret, will create an original score for the show.
The performance will be presented on the stage of the National Operetta of Ukraine in February 2017. After that, the troupe will tour with the show around French cities.
