Ukrainian photographic duo named world's best by Vogue Italia

Artists convey personal insightful sublime experience caused by environment

Ukrainian photographic duo Synchrodogs has won Fine Art category at the Best Photographer contest, leaving behind competitors from the US, Sweden, Slovenia, Armenia and other countries.

The contest had been announced by Vogue Italia chief editor Franca Sozzani to celebrate the new version of the magazine's PhotoVogue section.

The editors of the Italian magazine selected 10 candidates for the title.

Together with the winners in other categories, the Ukrainians will be able to manage the official Vogue Italia Instagram feed for one day.

Synchrodogs is a photographic duo of Tania Shcheglova from Ivano-Frankivsk and Roman Noven from Lutsk.

Since 2008, the Ukrainian photographic duo has won contests organized by Ukraine's Harpers Bazaar (2011); received the first prize in photo contest Art Rebels x Canon of Denmark and in FOAM Construct in the Netherlands (2012).
