Two Ukrainian servicemen wounded in last 24 hours

Ukrainian positions suffer shelling by Russian-backed militants

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the eastern Ukraine's combat zone. No servicemen were killed overnight.

'There were no casualties during the last day. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded near the towns of Zaitseve and Avdiivka,' Ukrainian military spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.

In Donetsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers came under fire 5 times, including four mortar attacks, according to Lysenko.

In Mariupol direction, the Russian-backed separatists shelled Ukrainian positions 10 times in Berezove and Shyrokyne.

In Luhansk direction, the illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire four times.
