Ceasefire holding? One Ukraine soldier dead, 6 wounded overnight

Kyiv says 28 attacks registered in past 24 hours

One Ukrainian soldier had died and another 6 were wounded in action in the last 24 hours, in a blow to the claims that ceasefire is holding in the conflict region.

The latest report, provided by Ukraine's Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, said the militants increase the number of attacks, and use mortars, prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

Anti-Terrorist operation press-center, in turn, reported 28 attacks in the past 24 hours, with 24 of them taking place in the Donetsk region, with 4 - in Luhansk. 

Additionally, the Russian-backed separatist forces are actively using UAV for reconnaissance in the vicinity of Avdiivka and the Donetsk airport.
