Chinese Hou Yifan claims the world champion title at a chess competition in Lviv, Ukraine

Ukrainian top chess player Mariya Muzychuk lost 3 to 6 in overall game sets

The chess crown is heading to China. Chinese chess player Hou Yifan beat out the Ukrainian Mariya Muzychuk at a World Championship in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.

With the total score 6 to 3 out of 9 game sets Hou Yifan won the competition. This is her fourth world championship title.

Mariya Muzychuk says hosting the world championship in her hometown was a great chance, since the crowd supported her a lot. She claims not to be disappointed by the loss.
