One soldier is dead after military vehicle hits a road mine

Ukrainian army press office reports of more shellings by Russian-backed separatist forces

One Ukrainian soldier is dead and two other are wounded after a vehicle they were travelling in hit a road mine in Donbas.

According to Ukraine's military spokesperson, there were no other injuries reported overnight.

Ukrainian army's press service says there were at least twenty shellings by Russian-backed separatist forces in the past 24 hours.

The most active zones were in the Donetsk region aimed in the direction of Mariupol.  Small towns of Avdiivka and Maryinka were also hit by enemy fire.
