Poroshenko hopes Intl Advisory Council to help Ukraine reform

President notes that Council's support will surely help Ukraine to become stronger

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at the opening session of the International Advisory Council expressed hope that the advice and recommendations of the Council's participants - prominent international politicians and experts - will help build a strong and prosperous Ukraine, the president's press service reported.

"I am sure that this Council will help us outlive the period of dramatic events and Ukraine will become stronger," Petro Poroshenko noted.

The President emphasized that the participants of the Council are true friends of Ukraine from all over the world. According to him, the initiative to summon such prominent people that can help implement reforms and overcome security challenges is very useful for Ukraine. The Head of State thanked the participants of the meeting for their efforts and willingness to support Ukraine.

Petro Poroshenko noted that Ukrainians have already proven their devotion to democracy and readiness to fight for the European future several times in the modern history of the state. "Ukraine has good prospects for reforms and it will be a country with independent judicial system, rule of law, democracy, investment climate and security. Ukraine will have a prosperous future," he said.
