Militants are trying to betray OSCE mission, spreading fake information about Ukrainian forces attacks
Donetsk terrorists are spreading false information about the alleged shelling of the checkpoint near the temporarily occupied village of Olenivka by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said the head of the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk, Ukraine's TSN news service reports.
According to Motuzianyk, neither the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nor any other formations are involved in the shelling of Olenivka.
"According to our preliminary information, the terrorists were firing small arms in this region, but our military didn't return fire. The information is being verified," Motuzianyk said.
The terrorists also indulge in wishful thinking that is part of the information war.
"The militants are trying to mislead the Ukrainians and the OSCE mission," he said.
Earlier, information resources of the Donetsk militants and pro-Kremlin media released information about the alleged shelling of the checkpoint near Olenivka by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to various sources, there were casualties.
