Reverse gas flow was temporarily suspended over pipe depressurisation

Ukraine has resumed natural gas imports from Poland with 4.25 million cubic meters (mcm) per day after the completion of repair works at a major gas pipeline in Lviv region, Ukrtransgaz spokesperson Maksym Beliavskiy reported on his social media page.

"At 07:00 on September 12, gas imports from Poland were resumed, with 4.25 mcm, corridor workload at 99%," the report says.

It is also noted that the emergency repair works to tackle depressurization of the pipeline in Lviv region, which had been reported in the early hours of Friday, September 9, were completed ahead of schedule, namely during the night of September 11.

On September 9, Ukraine halted gas imports from Poland because of depressurization of the main 800mm gas pipeline in Lviv region. After the incident, Ukrtransgaz took 3 days to repair the pipe.
