Belgian police raided a disused hotel near the French border in an ongoing investigation into a foiled attack in France.

Police blocked the streets and soldiers patrolled in front of the Villa Marquette.

Local media reported the search was linked to the investigation into a planned attack in Paris, scuppered by French police last week who raided an address in the Paris suburbs and discovered a cache of weapons. No arrests were made.
