RFE/RL report: Refat Chubarov led protests through the streets of Prague
Crimean Tatars in Prague have rallied to mark two years since Russia annexed their Black Sea regional homeland.
Activists holding flags and posters of Ukrainian political prisoners marched through the Czech capital.
There was one familiar face - that of Refat Chubarov, the head of the Crimean Tatar's main representative body the 'Mejlis'. That body current faces closure after self-styled Russian prosecutors in Crimea claims it is involved in extremist activity.
Protesters carried signs calling for Russia to release high-profile Ukrainian prisoners: pilot Nadia Savchenko, film director Oleh Sentsov, and activist Oleksandr Kolchenko.
