Destroyed Russian tank and banned mines found in Donbas

Ukraine intel recently reported on another train convoy with Russian fighters and military hardware which arrived in eastern Ukraine 

Soldiers of Ukrainian Aidar volunteer battalion uncovered the destroyed and turretless Russian-made T-72 tank at the contact line in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine. This is reported by Ukraine Security Service (the SBU).

They also found the banned anti-personnel mines 'Black Widow' and 'Petal' near the tank.

Also, near Toretsk in the Donetsk region, SBU officers together with policemen discovered a weapons hidden small arsenal including a Kalashnikov gun with 300 bullets, two grenades for a grenade launcher, a claymore mine, hand-grenades etc., said a statement.

The carefully camouflaged hiding place was set up near Ukrainian troops' position and could be used for celebrating the day of local "referendum" to provoke and escalate the situation in the region. Investigation is under way. 

Earlier, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that Russia had deployed tanks and armoured personnel carriers to eastern Ukraine to help militants arrange their Victory Day 'parades' in the Donbas region.
