Eight Turkish military men detained in Greece

Soldiers arrive in military helicopter and ask for political asylum

Greek state television reported that eight men fled from Turkey and landed in Alexandroupolis at midday on Saturday. The authorities believe the soldiers were involved in an overthrow attempt back home. Turkey have already asked to return the escapees.

Meanwhile, according to Reuters, Greek military reported that a frigate remain taken over at Turkey's naval base Golcuk.
