Trump wins after midnight voting in three towns in New Hampshire
Three towns with less than 100 inhabitants used their right of midnight voting in New Hampshire. Out of the 64 ballots cast, 32 went to Republican Donald Trump, 25 to Democrat Hillary Clinton and 3 to Libertarian Gary Johnson.
Meanwhile, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump made final appeals during the last hours of the election campaign. Clinton went to Raleigh in North Carolina, where she gave a speech at a midnight rally. She was accompanied by her husband, ex-president Bill Clinton, and daughter Chelsea. Lady Gaga performed at the rally.
At the same time in New York, Madonna made a surprise performance at Clinton supporters rally. She called to vote for Hillary Clinton "to save the country".
Donald Trump has chosen Grand Rapids in Michigan for his final rally. "Today is our independence day. Today the American working class is going to strike back," - he said from the scene, reports Washington Post.
More than 41 million Americans already took part in early voting. 37 states and the District of Columbia offered such an opportunity. The results of the voting are yet kept in secret.
