Footage shows conflict among employees of Ukraine's two government agencies

Anti-Corruption Bureau and Prosecutor General's Office blame each other for the conflict

A footage showing the conflict between employees of Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau and of Prosecutor General's Office, has been published on Youtube with a title 'That's how the Anti-Corruption Bureau really fights corruption'.

The clash between the members of Ukraine's two government structures occured on August 12th.

Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnyk said there is no conflict between the two institutions, or between himself and Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko. Sytnyk also said there are "actions in progress to protect personal interests of chiefs and employees of the Prosecutor General's Office."

According to the anti-corruption agency's version of the events, the prosecution forces mistook their investigative actions for spying, which caused the conflict.

The representative of the prosecutor's office claimed his employees had been beaten up by a "group of physical protection" of the anti-corruption agency.

Several criminal proceeding have been started by the two offices against each other's members.
