French and Belgian police on the hunt for gunman after raid linked to Paris terror attacks

Section of Brussels on lockdown, residents advised to stay indoors

French and Belgian police are on the hunt for gunman who fled and wounded once officer during a raid in Brussels linked to November's terror attacks in Paris.

Residents are being advised to stay indoors and a primary school close to the scene of the shooting is in lockdown. Three police officers were wounded during the raid.

Belgian security forces are still hunting suspects and associates of the ISIL militants involved in the attacks in Paris on Nov. 13. 130 people were killed in the shootings and suicide bombings. One of the prime suspects, 26-year-old Frenchman Salah Abdeslam, is from the Belgian capital. He is still on the run.
