Freshly launched e-declaration system does not work properly

Some users cannot open the website, others have problems signing in

Any citizen of Ukraine can obtain a digital signature and enter the system. Yet, some users say they cannot get any further than to authorize in the system. Others are prohibited from opening the website by their browsers. They receive a message that the site may steal their personal data.

Initially e-declaration system was launched two weeks ago, on August 15. However, it worked in test mode, as it did not receive the security certificate. After a few days, the system was shut down. Now it is reopened after some amendments. To make it work, developers had to change the way the system works with digital keys libraries. That is why all the declarations, submitted in August, have to be re-sent.

According to national Anti-corruption Bureau, all the civil servants can now submit their declarations. They have two months to complete the document.
