New type of warfare explored in a book presented by Russian researcher
A book titled 'Hybrid War a la Russe' by Russian researcher Yury Fedorov was presented in Brussels timed to the conference about Kremlin's influence in Europe on June 13.
The book demonstrates the new hybrid form of warfare, and the outcome of Russia's aggressive actions in Georgia and Ukraine as well as its support for European far-right movements.

'Hybrid War a la Russe' explores the methods of Russian propaganda machine, and the its activities on the European continent.
"Today a question arises about the combination of traditional military operations with non-military methods, aimed at destabilisation, destruction of the oponent through the economic pressure, solution of political and social crises, mass propagandistic campaigns," the author stated during the conference.
Yuri Fedorov is a researcher working at the Centre for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies (Ukraine). He is the author and editor of a number of books, articles and research papers published in Russia, the US and Europe.
