Ukrainian imprisoned pilot and MP will stop drinking water on April 6
Ukrainian fighter pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko will stop drinking water (resuming the so-called 'dry' hunger strike) since April 6.
She wrote that in her letter, published by her lawyer Mark Feygin on Twitter.

Nadiya Savchenko's tetter:
"Addressing people, briefly: The trial is a farce, the sentence is a bluff. There will be further bargaining. Everyone will try to snatch as much as possible when bargaining me, and grasp an opportunity not to lose their 'brand name'.

I am not the bargaining chip. I alone will decide my fate. Therefore I recommend politicians not to bargain, but reach an agreement. My death will benefit no one, but make things even worse. I would like 'big-rankers' to be a bit wiser. My case can pave a path either to peace, or war. I understand, they will try to break me down, and the pressure on me will be huge. However, I would not have been what I am, if I had not endured it all or could not endure it all in future.
I will resume a ‘dry hunger' (stop drinking water) and continue it until final victory. I will leave the pre-trial detention facility only to go to Ukraine - not to a prison settlement! See you in Ukraine – (when I am) free and released. Ukraine is above all! Glory to Ukraine!
Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko has been sentenced to 22 years in prison by a Russian court. Judges found her guilty on charges of complicity in the deaths of two Russian journalists and of crossing the Russian border illegally. For the duration of her case her legal team have said the charges are fabricated and a guilty verdict was a foregone conclusion.
