Baltic country concerned over increasing number of similar incidents
Latvia's National Armed Forces have again spotted a Russian warship near the country's borders and reported on this on Twitter.
"On July 23, the Russian Admiral Grigorovich class frigate 'Admiral Essen' was spotted at a distance of seven nautical miles from Latvia's exclusive economic zone," the posting says.

On July 20, a Russian warship was spotted at a 4.5-nautical-mile distance from Latvia's border.
270 incidents involving Russian military aircraft and ships approaching Latvian borders were reported in 2015.
Latvia's National Armed Forces reported more than 140 provocative flights, as well as 130 cases of Russian submarines and ships close to Latvian territorial waters.
