Kerry assured new economic sanctions against Moscow might be introduced
On Sunday the 16th October, US Secretary of State John Kerry held talks on the situation in Syria with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in London, a day after Kerry met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and other top diplomats in Switzerland.
Kerry expressed readiness to introduce new economic restrictions against Moscow if the situation with Aleppo bombing continues.
According to him, crimes against humanity occur daily in Syria, that's why such actions must be punished. Washington and its Western partners will continue to put the pressure on the regime of Assad and those who support him.
Boris Johnson also urged Russia to "do the right thing by humanity and the people of Syria" with committing to a ceasefire.
