Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine stated it hopes for appropriate actions of Czech authorities in the short term. The Ministry has also passed to the law enforcement authorities of Ukraine the information on some Czech Republic citizens' activity concerning attempts to legalize a terroristic organization.

Russian-backed Donetsk separatists earlier claimed they would open ‘officially registered diplomacy center' in Czech Ostrava on September 1. Official Prague said it would not recognize the 'embassy' or have any diplomatic relations with it.
