More Russian artillery and aviation reported near Crimean border

Informatsiynyi Sprotyv reports about up to 30 tanks in the occupied peninsula

Russia is amassing military equipment and weapons in the occupied Crimea near the administrative border with mainland Ukraine. That's according to a non-governmental organisation Informatsiynyi Sprotyv.

According to the organisation, the reported troops include tactic groups of Russian paratroopers and units of motorized rifle brigades.

"In addition, we can say about the establishment of an artillery group and several groups of army aviation. The general amount is up to 30 tanks, around 60-70 armoured vehicles, around 40 artillery units," said Kostiantyn Mashovets, Informatsiynyi Sprotyv coordinator.

Russian forces's military activity has been constantly reported near the administrative border between mainland Ukraine and Russia-annexed Crimea.
