More Russian troops arrive in Donbas - Ukraine's intel

Ukrainian Defence ministry warns of possible offensive reconnaissance tactics

A Russian military special operations unit of the airborne forces deployed in the city of Shyrokyne in Donetsk region.

According to Ukraine's Ministry of Defence, the brigade's sole purpose there is working surveillance.

Ukrainian Defence Ministry also adds that the Russian-backed separatist forces are constantly rotating and strengthening front-line units as well as replenishing ammunition, fuel and lubricants in the directions of Sieverodonetsk, Volnovakha and Mariupol.

"The unit of 45th separate special operation brigade (city of Kubinka, Moscow region) of airborne troops of Russia's Armed Forces arrived at the area controlled by 1st motorized rifle battalion (city of Kominternove, Donetsk region) of 9th marine separate motorized rifle regiment", the statement reads.

"In cooperation with the reconnaissance squadron of the regiment, they plan an offensive reconnaissance to disclose fire systems of the ATO forces in the areas of Vodiane and Shyrokyne. Similar measures were conducted on June 14 in the area of Pavlopil", Ukrainian officials further stated.

The Ukrainian Defence Ministry Intelligence also informs that on June 15, 11 soldiers of Army Corps of Russia's Armed Forces were killed and 13 injured.
