Nadiya Savchenko's health worsens

Ukraine's consuls in Russia say the pilot's blood pressure is extremely low

Nadiya Savchenko - Ukrainian pilot imprisoned in Russia - is not feeling well. This is according to Ukraine's consuls in Russia, who managed to pay a visit to Savchenko in prison.

Ukrainian consuls say Nadiya Savchenko's body is refusing food, she's nauseous and her blood pressure is extremely low.

The Ukrainian pilot and an MP wants only Ukrainian or international doctors to examine her. Savchenko claims Russian medics only measure her blood pressure without providing any help.

Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitri Peskov claims the judges who convicted Savchenko followed the law. "Any other decision can only be made by the head of the country. For now, there's no such decision," Peskov reiterated.
