The EU's newly appointed ambassador to Ukraine Hughes Mingarelli will take his office in September, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn said during his press conference in Kyiv on Monday, July 11.

"I would like to say thank you to our Ambassador Jan Tombinski who is finishing his work in Ukraine," Hahn said. "Those were very difficult four years between 2012 and 2016."
