Night shelling of Maryinka downtown: Ukrainian police release video of aftermath

The city centre of Maryinka suffered heavy artillery raid from Russian controlled forces in Donbas in the middle of the night

The head of Ukrainian police department in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin revealed a dramatic video of the consequences of the night artillery raid, committed by Russian proxies. The shelling hit the downtown of the district centre Maryinka in the government-controlled part of Donbas.

General Abroskin commented the video on his page on Facebook: "Maryinka. As a result of yesterday's fire, there were no casualties. Two houses on the Artem street burned to the ground."

Earlier during the night he informed, that Russian-controlled forces shelled the center of the town near the school №2. Local residents commented this post with the information, that on September 1st 160 pupils planned to take part in the school year beginning ceremony.
