No specific agreements on Trump's visit to Russia – Kremlin

Peskov dismisses media reports as a canard

Kremlin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov has refuted media reports on the upcoming US president-elect Donald Trump's visit to Moscow.

"As of today, there are no specific agreements [on Trumps's visit to Russia]. Putin and Trumps discussed the intention to renew contacts, to meet in person, but nobody mentioned when it could happen," Peskov told journalists in Moscow, UNIAN reports.

Earlier, several Russian media reported, referring to a source in the Republican Party that Trump was planning a trip to Russia right after inauguration, due on January 20.

The source said on the condition of anonymity that Trump's advisers had persuaded him to visit Russia after taking office, and not before the ceremony.
