There is little time and the situation remains unclear, Moscow says

The chances that the Normandy Four will meet on Monday are slim, according to the Kremlin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier reports suggested the leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia would gather to discuss the Minsk agreements on October 19, but later information emerged saying there were no conditions for the meeting.

‘Considering the situation is still unclear and the meeting on the level of Presidential advisers didn't bring positive results, the chances are really low', Peskov said, according to Russian media.

However, the preparations for the talks continue, the spokesman said.

The possible Normandy Four session was discussed by the leaders on the phone last week. It was reported the meeting could take place in Berlin.
