Ukraine's FM on next meeting of the Normandy Format at the ministers' level
The next Normandy Format meeting at the level of the Foreign Ministers might take place next Tuesday, Ukraine's FM Pavlo Klimkin said.
‘I recently talked to Frank-Walter Steinmeier (German Foreign Minister – UT), and we determined the possible date – November 29', Klimkin told journalists after the session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He said, the exact date is still being discussed.
The latest Normandy Format meeting took place in Berlin on October 19, amid the snail-paced progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements for the Donbas conflict settlement.
As a result, leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France agreed to work out a road map for the Minsk deal, in an attempt to find a common ground between the sides of the conflict, Kyiv and Moscow.
The key issues that are expected to be addressed in the road map, are border control and withdrawal of Russian troops as well as amnesty, release of hostages and local election in Donbas.
