Approximately 500 members of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) are scheduled to deploy this fall to provide training support in Ukraine

Oklahoma National Guard will assist with the training on different levels, from squad to staff. The program includes small unit tactics, security, defensive operations and establishing a combat training center.

The 45th brigade will be on the first rotation and is to conduct two training cycles for Ukrainian Forces, followed by the 279th Infantry Regiment for the second rotation. Each rotation will last 6 months.
