Poroshenko to go to Malaysia on first official visit, make state visit to Indonesia

Business forums will be held as part of these two visits

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will go on his first official visit to Malaysia this week; he is also scheduled to make a state visit to Indonesia, according to the presidential administration.

The visit to Malaysia is slated for August 3-5, 2016, the administration's press service said.

"The agenda of the first visit in the history of bilateral relations of the two countries provides for the meetings with Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak and other representatives of Malaysian leadership," the press service said.

The Ukrainian president will be visiting Indonesia on August 5-7, and is scheduled to meet with President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Speaker of the People's Representative Council Ade Komarudin and the Head of Yogyakarta Sultanate.

Business forums will be held as part of these two visits. The parties are scheduled to sign a series of bilateral documents aimed at the enhancement of cooperation.
