Militants continue to violate ceasefire agreement

Military hostilities continue in eastern Ukraine, where Russian-backed separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions 20 times over the last 24 hours. The military press centre of the Anti-Terrorist Operation reported about this on its Facebook page.

The area of the town of Avdiivka near the contact line in Donetsk region remains one of the hotspots. The militants used grenade launchers, heavy-calibre machine guns, small arms and 82mm-calibre mortars to fire at Ukrainian troops.
