The politician did not reveal his plans yet
Mikheil Saakashvili submitted documents for his resignment to the Presidential Administration, his press secretary Daryna Chyzh reports. The president's office does not comment on whether they have received the papers yet, the officials explained: Petro Poroshenko will sign the resignation papers if the Cabinet of Ministers would provide the necessary papers, and then the Presidential Administration promises in this case to investigate "the real reasons for resignment".
As of now, Saakashvili does not reveal any plans about creating his own party or other political activities. Yet, he uploaded to his youtube channel a video, showing his achievements in developing Odesa region infrastructure:
Mikheil Saakashvili announced his resignation today, on November 7th. He names as the main reason - corruption and blames the President for not tackling it.
