Ukrainian MP on why she travelled to Moscow, how she went through hunger strikes and what the world should do with Putin

Nadiya Savchenko, a Ukrainian MP, a delegate to the PACE and a military pilot, who was released from Russia and brought back to Ukraine in May this year, has recently appeared on the BBC's Newsnight TV programme.

She told BBC's Kirsty Wark how, despite fears for her personal security, she travelled to Russia to support Ukrainian political prisoners; how British celebrity chef helped her to get through lengthy hunger strikes in Russian prison; and how the rest of the world should view Vladimir Putin.
