After 708 days in captivity Ukrainian pilot is to work in Verkhovna Rada

Member of Parliament Nadia Savchenko will become member of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on National Security and Defense, MP Ivan Krulko has told 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

"After the meeting at the Presidential Administration, Savchenko attended a meeting of the Batkivschyna faction. We had a very warm conversation. Nadia is a team player and today she has confirmed that she is an integral member of the Batkivschyna team, that she will work in Parliament. She asked for help in getting accustomed to a job, which is new for her, as soon as possible. She will be a member of the Committee on National Security and Defense. I believe her vote will be a very significant one," Krulko said.
